limited leads, high turnover among comfort advisors and staff

Advice to Management

take care of employees that are there and try to grow unless you can offer full schedules and leads to all comfort advisors

    Pros

    Company provided insurance, leeds, 401k, and car. One free lunch. Paid training providing an overly simplified, basic understanding of HVAC components and how to design HVAC systems.

    Cons

    Pacific Aire, on the surface, appears to be a first class operation but in reality is a wolf in sheeps clothing. They will tell you what a high level of integrity they posses and expect from you, then they will lie to you about the real opportunity and how you will be compensated. You'll wait 10 days to be approved after background checks, drug testing, etc.. You'll be asked to wait additional time before starting a week of poorly presented training, where you'll be treated like an idiot, if you ask too many questions. On your first day of training you'll spend the entire day signing various paperwork and watching HR training videos on sexual harassment in the workplace. Then, if you agree to everything, you'll be given your materials and put through a rigorous week of training. The ultimate insult, will occur when you find the sales person employment agreement, which they conveniently hide in the back of their 2 inch thick training manual, where you'll discover the 15 ways they'll proceed to disembowel you, for simply doing your job. After many years in sales, I have never seen any other organization figure out so many methods to take your commissions away. A few simple examples include: you will pay all merchant fees and company incurred costs associated with financing, should your client opt to use either method of payment. Paying for the Merchant fees will cost you 25% - 30% of your commission!! The company provided leed, which they represent as having the highest closing percentage, comes at a cost of about a 20% deduction. These supposedly represent 80% of your leeds. So if you sell one of those and your client wants to pay with a credit card, it costs you approximately 1/2 of your commission!! If you weren't trained on a specific item and you leave it out of your bid, you pay for it!! The worst part is, that you'll only find this out after nearly a month!!

    Advice to Management

    Practice what you preach and actually incorporate a high level of integrity in all aspects of your business! If you're going to take a full day to cover on-boarding paperwork, include the compensation plan, so people don't find out about the deductions after investing nearly a month of their time!! Provide training given by personnel that have some patience and don't have an ego the size of Texas. Give adequate training so that your sales staff can design a system correctly the first time. Figure out how to pay the sales team more, not how to take away their commissions!! If you treat your sales team with such disrespect, how do you treat your customers??

    Pros

    They do pay their employees. They provide company vehicles.

    Cons

    Family don't always make good employees. Leadership lacking. Supervisors without integrity.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your customers when they recommend getting rid of bad employee and not to listen to that bad employee to get rid of good employees that the customers actually like and want to do future business with.
