    Pros

Competitive pay and benefits for a non-profit.

    Cons

Company culture set by association with VAPAHCS

  2. "Hitting the ground running--literally."

    Pros

At "PAIRE" you will find a friendly atmosphere and driven colleagues. You will have the chance to manage--and thus learn intimately about--medical studies. If you have an interest in clinical trials, the stages involved from inception to completion, and the politics behind medicine, a position with this company would provide interesting insights.

    Cons

Little or no training for new employees means that they will find themselves tackling upwards of 15 elaborate projects and being in a position to guide the projects' lead researchers, while they themselves are not yet equipped for the many nuisances of such a task.

    Advice to Management

Devote serious attention to training and supporting employees and try to better divide tasks amongst employees. Certain positions have insurmountable workloads, with employees being in a constant state of panic.
