I have been working at Panera Bread full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great company to work for. Really cares about their employees and works around your schedule. May it be a school or other job, they make sure you get the attention you need at work and the days off that you require.

Cons

Each store is run differently. If you work at one store, but get transferred to another store, its basically a whole new world and the expectations are different. It really depends on who the general manager is at the store. Also, since they have a reputation of having the cleanest cafes around, they really take it seriously about always cleaning and maintaining the dining room as well as the production line.

Advice to Management

Nothing to share right now.

I have been working at Panera Bread full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Co-workers are usually friendly, easy to get along with individuals. Pay is decent, though still not enough to live on. Discount on product is generous, but you become disenchanted with the food after working there.

    Cons

Management is very reactive and not proactive and completely disorganized. It can be difficult to get managers to listen to you at times. Employee turnover is very high and you can expect to be short staffed frequently, often because individuals just stop showing up for work. It is also expected that you will work hours past your scheduled time off, so never make plans for directly after work.

    Advice to Management

communicate and listen with and to each other, your employees, and other departments.
