I worked at Panera Bread full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Co-workers, customers, proximity to home.

    Cons

Everything else. No upper managerial skills, cheap (beg for repairs, months to fix), NO benefits. General apathy or anger from co-workers over conditions.

    Advice to Management

Get a grip. Workers have rights. We are the front line to your guests. Without us, no business, no profits. Time to share the wealth.

I have been working at Panera Bread part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love working at Panera Bread. It's really a family atmosphere. The key is that anyone who just wants to skirt by and not go above and beyond will not enjoy this job and they will not get hours. But if you are willing to work hard and put all of your effort into your job, the management is amazing, they really work with your schedule, and overall it's a really great company to work for.

    Cons

You do have to actually work hard, and it is hard work, you're under time pressure and you have to make sure you make the food right. You smell like sweaty Panera after work, and you should never make plans until at least an hour after when you're scheduled to get off, because 9 out of 10 times you'll be there at least half an hour past when you were supposed to leave.

    Advice to Management

    Keep being really awesome.
