I have been working at Papa John's part-time (More than a year)

Pros

For the few hours that are worked delivery tips are stack up.

Cons

People on top are cheap with their stuff. Good luck getting anything from them. They will constantly be changing things around. Also it all depends on the delivery area you are at(very important)

Advice to Management

Reward your employees with free shirts or incentives. They need more motivation to love their job other than the money.

I worked at Papa John's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pretty good pay. Covered all my bills easily.
    Schedules are VERY flexible.
They do make a regular effort to get employee feedback.
My exeriences with the General Managers and upper management were great. Some truly great people working for this company.

    Cons

Most shift leaders leave much to be desired. Its relatively easy to get into the position and many times they are not the right person to be put in charge of anything. I've worked at multiple stores. Toxic leadership runs rampant and rules/regulations go out the window when the GM isn't around.
The wear on your car can be difficult to handle.
Shift length may vary depending on how useful you are. Lazy people get sent home early while the rest get held late.

    Advice to Management

    Weed out your lazy employees.

I worked at Papa John's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you like call centers then Papa Johns is state of the art and provides better hands on resources then most.

    Cons

Work-life balance however is not good. Too many hours, not enough of a life outside work. Very poor training for employees. One of the worst health care plans I've ever had.

    Advice to Management

Train your employees. They do most of the work and get very little recognition for it. Provide them with a better health care plan.
