I have been working at Parallon part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Work independently. No managers or supervisors at Spring Hill location.

Cons

Must be self-motivated. Hard to move up in company, since all other positions are 40 miles away. No else trained to cover job, for time-off/sick days Work is stacked up when you get back. Only 20 hours a week.

    I have been working at Parallon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    I was able to learn the essential learning tools to master my job, great staff, peer help was encouraged. Great Providers and staff.

    Cons

    Upper management staff has a bully mentality. Career advancement was not encouraged within the division. Transferring to different departments within the HCA family was discouraged. Communicate between the Physician Group and Hospitals is horrible. Hospital and the Shared Service was adversary. 6plus years as a employee, yearly increase are minimal. Bonus's have been taken away.

    Advice to Management

    Upper management within the Shared Service(Physician Services) should be rotated and changed every 3-5 years(like Walmart). They have a Bully mentality that corrupt the culture.
