I have been working at Paralyzed Veterans of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The mission of improving veterans lives through advocacy and direct action makes PVA a very rewarding workplace. I have the opportunity to travel to meet and collaborate with veterans and VA staff which has enriched my knowledge and experience. Management has treated me with respect and has supported my professional growth by giving me new opportunities. The diverse group of employees are all quality people who I enjoy working with as they understand how to balance working hard with the enjoyment of the camaraderie the mission fosters.

    Cons

Office environment is mostly private offices somewhat inhibiting natural collaboration. Personnel would benefit from a facility modernization.

    Advice to Management

Continue to grow the organization and outreach primarily branding to ensure name recognition.
