Pros

Some decent people to work with You won’t be over worked

Cons

Leadership does not actually lead. Call center reps get the worst of the brunt with lack of information and training and then are reprimanded only after an issue is noticed my upper management. Managers are not held accountable for severe grievances and mistakes that if a representative would have made would be acknowledged. The pay is different for everyone and is encouraged not to discuss wages so that you think your getting the best deal when you probably aren’t. The systems we use often have issues and take too long to solve causing angry customers and a harder time for reps. Office culture is full of gossip and certain departments are very closed off. Lack of communication is a huge theme throughout the company causing frustration. No room for growth and when there is seems to be unclear on what is now expected of you, and this will change on the spot with little notice. Cultures and values are not the reality of the workplace and seems out of touch.

Pros

Some very nice people work here.

Cons

Working repayment of high risk loans / sub-prime is ugly business. Lots of very unhappy customers. Highly recommend NOT ever taking a loan out at these high rates. The way it works is, you go to a trucking company for a basic license training course. They charge you $6000 for the class. You take out a loan with them or Paramount. The company then sells your 6k loan to Paramount for $3K or sometimes less! The trucking company would have been happy getting 3 k from you. But then paramount has you pay them back the 6K PLUS a lot of interest. You end up paying 8 or 10K for a class you could have gotten for $3k.
