I was terminated a week or so after being told by my manager that she would put me on an Performance Improvement Plan which she never provided, and that I "wasn't right" for a role virtually identical to several I've had previously for nearly thirty years, including as a manager myself. My new hire training was woefully insufficient in too many ways to describe.
