Pros

They provided work training. They were good at paying you at the end of the month. Gained work experience.

Cons

Enticed in with the promise of good, consistent work that sounded great on paper, and left with mental scars from the bad experience of their shambolic recruitment and contractual practices. Early on, an issue was with the programme managers not telling you what what is happening with you. Meanwhile, you're locked into a dodgy and vague contract that restricts you to work for them under their terms over a length of time. They can waste months of your life while they try to figure out what to do with you under their 'graduate programme' contract. The value proposition for workers within the project solutions programme was consistently poor and did not change for the better. A constant lack of communication leaves you wondering what to do with yourself. They often oversell their candidates to the clients, creating a constant mismatch in expectations between the client and you. No benefits or perks to make you feel good or valued as an employee. There was always a lack of consideration for the wellbeing of the Project Solution employees. You feel like a pawn. When you're placed, you're usually sweeping up the light 'odd jobs'. Meanwhile, you're left continuously waiting for 'real' work to begin. If you want to actually feel valued and a contributing member of a team and doing work that feels important, avoid working for this company and their clients. Pareto changed their payment and incentive structures regularly, one day saying one thing the next day another, based on what they think would save them money. Long term incentives were functionally non-existent, promises of future pay increases were a fantasy. They know you have little to no bargaining power as you are still early in your career and take full advantage of that. In summary, avoid working for this company and under any circumstances don't sign a two year contract with them, even if you're desperate. You end up looking forward to the day you can leave under their contract's rules, which also disappoints their treasured clients.
