I worked at Park Place Dealerships full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Excellent work/life balance, lots of time off, great vacation benefits, freedom to work your own deals without going back and forth.

    Cons

Unbelievably awful pay plan - much greater responsibility than other places with far less compensation. Mgmt holds salespeople accountable yet are not accountable to salespeople. There is no real traffic, all opportunities must generated by incessantly calling orphan customers.

    Advice to Management

If salespeople are going to do the job of both finance mgr and salesperson they should be compensated accordingly. I honestly couldn’t believe how bad the pay was for all that’s expected of you. If this group was as good as they congratulate themselves for being they’d be unstoppable. Working here was a supreme disappointment.

I worked at Park Place Dealerships part-time

    Pros

Pay is competitive for the area

    Cons

-Hours are not very flexible -Lots of “snooty” people shifting responsibilities onto anyone less essential -Advancement isn’t based on your work, it’s all about how much you kiss up to management

    Advice to Management

Hire managers who actually do their job instead of lounging around collecting their paychecks
