Pros
Great benefits. RSUs if you qualify.
Cons
Not sure where to start. When I started 4 years ago the culture and people were wonderful. The job was manageable and the stress was low. It’s all shifted. The culture has tanked. Team morale is depressingly low and we are tasked with taking more and more on, with no raise in compensation. My team is working countless hours of OT off the clock since we aren’t supposed to utilize OT but then we fall so far behind. The work life balance used to be wonderful. Also gone because all I think of on my days off is what I might have missed because we keep being asked to do more than our position requires and it’s like we are drowning. Was hired as work from home, now I have to come to office, which is less than 30 miles (28.7) takes me 1-1.5 hours also taking away from my work life balance. Missing my kids games and school activities due to the drive. I’m just overall sad. I was so happy to get my position here and now I’m disappointed.

Pros
The culture is what they say it is. There is a high degree of transparency and access to leaders. The organizations values are not just words on the wall, You see and feel the values everyday. Paylocity treats their people right. This is the best culture I've ever worked for. I also like the excellent work they do in DEIA, There are more female leaders than anywhere I've worked before and a better balance among leaders which seems to continue to improve consistently.
Cons
A fast growing company has a lot of changes. The need to be adaptable is persistent in this organization. Being flexible and willing to change direction quickly can be difficult at times, but the changes are often good and worth the temporary discomfort.
