Well funded projects that are making a real difference for students and teachers. This is REAL technology innovation in the education space.

    Cons

Pace of change and adaptation is not as fast as high tech industry and start-ups

    Advice to Management

Too much "stove pipe" mentality that limits what team can accomplish

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Great flexibility. Clientele are very interesting. Great job if you love being in an intellectual environment and are solution oriented.

    Cons

Volume of work after the sales call can be overwhelming. Must be detailed oriented. Industry is going through the pain of a format change and how they are delivering information. Very transitional time for higher education publishing.

    Advice to Management

Only ask for reports that are absolutely necessary. Help reps succeed by letting them focus on what makes them (and the company) money.
