I have been working at Pearson full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

I've been with Pearson for over ten years and continue to look forward to many great years. Salary could be slightly improved to match current market. However, great people and great working environment are a huge plus.

Cons

Certain time-to-market based products can be overwhelming and requires everyone to pitch in as needed. However, the end results are great products for all age groups.

    Pros

    Good compensation and benefits programs.

    Cons

    Management heavy. More chiefs than Indians to complete the contractual work required. No commitment from corporate Pearson to alleviate over worked employees.

    Pros

    Fun to solve problems and troubleshoot the software.

    Cons

    Do not promote internally. Support is managed poorly. Customers are often verbally abusive and unreasonably demanding.

    Advice to Management

    Empower support and promote technical ability instead of lip service just to keep customers happy despite their abuse
