Strong focus on company's goals - serving the student and all supporting activity

Cons

Senior management is discounted from people actaully doing the work. Constant reorganizations are killing morale

I worked at Pearson as a contractor

    Pros

Salary and work from home opportunities when necessary.

    Cons

There's a long list but to start very sexist environment. Women are not listened to or treated well by some of the middle managers. Endless conference calls, often with 2 other timezones - early morning for East Coast staff. Poor communication by management - they will reprimand you behind your back. Management does not stand up for employees.

    Advice to Management

You should start to value the women in the company as well as the men. Observe, middle management does not communicate with the female staff - well, they don't communicate at all really
