Pros

The benefits are some of the best around. It takes only a couple of years to get 3 weeks of vacation and 1 week of vacation time. Health insurance costs are reasonable. Strong team environments and many opportunities to learn from others. A very relaxed environment, and flexible hours.

Cons

As with most larger companies, work environments differ between groups. Although my group averages 40 hour weeks, there are some groups that are averaging around 60 hours a week.

    Pros

Decent hours, decent pay, fairly nice environment, open door policy of management, good bonuses, not a very wasteful company, relaxed atmosphere

    Cons

little room for input from lower level employees. Little feedback from upper management. Not in an amazing location. Not particularly exciting work.

    Advice to Management

Pearson is a global leader in education and publishing. There should be a larger push for employees to get more education, and contribute on a greater scale to the organization as a whole.
