I have been working at Peet's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

always busy - never boring. You get some pretty rad customers coming in, and you end up becoming pretty close to a lot of the regulars that come in. You could have be having the crappiest day ever and have one specific regular come in and have all the grumps go away. I've also never heard of a Peetnik that didn't end up hanging out and getting close to their coworkers.

    Cons

so much work for little pay, very physically demanding. Elbows, wrists, back and shoulders have never hurt so bad.

    Advice to Management

don't assume the only aspect of an employees life is their job.
