I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

money, other employees are great.

Cons

your just a number. your job is strickly based on what one manager thinks of you. hours can be tough, long hours. cant plan any family time. always being called by manager on your cell phone that you pay for

Advice to Management

stop the micromanaging, let the rsr have a little say so into what they see on a daily basis. not what you see behind a computer at your desk. Have the managers get out and help their rsr's, and stay off the golf course, cant tell you how many times our manager was at the course while at work.

I have been working at PepsiCo part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

good money, anything over 8 hours is time and a half.

    Cons

you don't know your schedule until 16 hours before you shift starts. you are scheduled to work 8 hours and they will force you to work 12, and you don't find out until your 8 hours is finished. it is so unpredictable.

    Advice to Management

find a new scheduling system. and treat your employees better

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Iconic brands that brings instant credibility with retail customers. Company is always looking for ways to stay on the cutting edge and ahead of the competition both in products, technology, and value added service to their customers.

    Cons

They restructure every 2 years so the security level isn't good. PepsiCo Foodservice just bought 80% of the Pepsi bottlers to have more control over distribution but the integration of the bottlers and foodservice division has made this a rough uncertain transition for the employees

    Advice to Management

Stay grounded with your front line sales employees--they are the true ears to the organization to what is really happening in the field.
