I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Decent benefits
Average Salary
If your manager is good then this could be a great company for you
They have good Travel Programs in place.

Cons

Not too many avenues to improve career
Manager policies are not consistent across teams
Vacation cannot be carried forward to the following year even though manager did not allow to take it during certain time of the year.

Advice to Management

Manager is not considerate. He is never consistent about anything he says. Does not believe in Work Life Balance at all. Employees are quitting constantly due to incosideration from managers.

    Pros

Fun brands, great resume builder, great people

    Cons

The culture of PepsiCo has dramatically gone down hill. My first 2-3 years were great, the culture was so supportive and collaborative but the reason I ended up leaving was that it became a really terrible culture. The constant reorgs and cost cutting measures led to vast majority of the survivors being incredibly disengaged - major turnover too much work to get done in way too short of a time.

    Advice to Management

Admit there is a turnover issue and do something to get the culture back to where it was. Employees understand there are needs to be competitive and work on productivity and efficiency but the vast amount of change with incredibly limited resources is not sustainable.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Culture - fast paced, entrepreneur style, high performing, fun
People - great people from the top to the bottom
Career - tons of opportunities and exposure
Products - best products in the business

    Cons

Many benefits have disappeared: Stock Options, 401K match, pension
Bonuses have been horrible for the past few years company wide
Year end merit raise is pitiful, not even inflation matching

    Advice to Management

If we pride ourselves on hiring the best of the best, shouldn't the overall compensation package be the best of the best.
