No opinion of CEO

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

The pay is good and it is moving in the right direction with regard to Quality and Food Safety.

Cons

Others are reluctant to cooperate due to the struggle between the high demands of their objectives and the limited human resources to achieve them. It doesn't matter how much of the carrot and stick they employ when they're asking you to negotiate a continuously changing and complicated course.

Advice to Management

Implement a freeze on changes for at least one year with a promise to carefully consider what triggers change in the future.

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great name recognition, close to home, benefits were good, ok place to learn the industry.

    Cons

Constant restructuring, zero work life balance, constant lay-off fear, managers don't regard each person as having valuable input, hollow promises, managers pet mentallity.

    Advice to Management

More compassion for the employees life outside of work, follow through on promise's made to employee's, try to listen to what every employee has to offer whether good or bad.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

brand recongition, free shirts, jackets and capsalong with shoes.

    Cons

long hours, DSL with lilttle or no management skills or people skills. Very much a company where you have to worship at the alter of DORITOS and TOSTITOS. They dont want you to have a mind of your own or an opinion. You must almost kiss butt to survive, management tend to hold a grudge or have their pets who seem to do no wrong. Pay below average, benefits below industry standards

    Advice to Management

Train your DSL to know how to manage instead of promoting someone who has no business in that position. Stop the backstabbing of DSL toward RSR employees
