I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Excellent opportunity to learn and know different business operations. The Company in general is so interested in employees well being. Challenging.

Cons

I think that for women is still difficult to get promotions or a raise for the same work as male colleagues do.
Low compensation compared with the market.
The company likes to laid off people every year for savings instead of exploring other options, in the other hand they hire so much people using outsourcing companies.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It has good pay and benefits

    Cons

The work life balance is non existent unless you are favored by management. Constantly pressure you to reach work efficiencies that are not possible but generate the most money. Knowingly has a system in place that is inefficient and actually cost them money and expects you to work harder and faster to compensate for it. Upper management has no clue about what goes on in the warehouse but makes decisions based off of what seems good on paper and not what actually works. Management constantly says they are not making money when the reality is they are making money just not as much as they wanted to make. Work in the warehouse is physically demanding.

    Advice to Management

Be more engaged with all of your employees and not just a select few who kiss up to you and be more realistic about your expectations.
