I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Average pay, around 45k annual in a rural area.
Calling in sick is frowned on but possible. It is a serious business place to work and not for one whom might want to play hooky or skip on responsibilities.
For retail work it pays far above average.
Great medical vision dental, tuition and retirement benefits.

Cons

Hard to get route covered when sick or to take a sudden day off.
Stores can be demanding and challenging. It takes patience and perseverance.
Work can be physically demanding a
At times long hours are needed to be out in.
You do not have a set time to get off, and on the same token, you do not have a set time to start the day.
The rule of the trade is to own your business take care of issues that day and grow your business while maintaining healthy business relationships with accounts.

Advice to Management

Better pay raises or compensate people that have been working longer. It is odd that a employee that has been working hard for ten years makes the same as someone who puts the Pepsi uniform on the first day.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The pay is good. The benefits are good. The brands are strong. Many of the brands are 50 years old or older.

    Cons

The decision making can, at times, be a little slow. There are a number of layers of management. The cost of overhead can be a little high.

    Advice to Management

Be a little more aggressive. Go after your competitors like they go after you. Respond to the market changes a little faster. Look cautiously at some large investments of capital.
