I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Free food, good co workers, good benefits. It is a good company to work for as long as you do what you are told.

Cons

The bosses think that you are a slave and they are the masters. They need to have more respect for the sales reps.

Advice to Management

Please learn that employees work better with a carrot and not a stick hanging over their head.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Descent benefits and pay, you can work at your own pace if you don't mind a longer day

    Cons

No work life balance, long hours, very hard fast pace with no room for unpredictable circumstances.

    Advice to Management

Ride with an RSR for a week around a holiday. Take your blinders off, listen&learn and leave your poor, unexperienced ideas at home. you can't cookie cutter every store. Go back to the old school ideas of Herman Lay and the company will grow with good attitudes and a hunger to grow. Long hours means RSRs rush through the day and don't look for sales opportunities!
