Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Descent benefits and pay, you can work at your own pace if you don't mind a longer day

Cons

No work life balance, long hours, very hard fast pace with no room for unpredictable circumstances.

Advice to Management

Ride with an RSR for a week around a holiday. Take your blinders off, listen&learn and leave your poor, unexperienced ideas at home. you can't cookie cutter every store. Go back to the old school ideas of Herman Lay and the company will grow with good attitudes and a hunger to grow. Long hours means RSRs rush through the day and don't look for sales opportunities!

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good people, non-union environment, nice bonus incentive for college grads. Bonuses get ridiculous if you can stick around to reach Band I. But that will take even the most inspired individuals 10+ years to achieve in addition to one or more relo's along the way.

    Cons

Although non-union it pretty much acts like a union. Starting salary was terrible. Benefits were sub-par at best.

  2. "Pretty good company to work for."

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Independence, route varies daily, good product line to support.

    Cons

Leadership is lacking, not very motivational. Difficult to work hard when supervisor fosters negativity among employees.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to be more supportive of employees and listen closer to their needs and requests.
