Pepsi Fleet - Parts Coordinator PepsiCo Employee Review

      Pros

PepsiCo has great benefits and decent perks. Mental health is taken seriously and they offer generous maternity leave for the ladies. Most work is easier and the pace of business moves very slowly which allows for a great work-life balance. They encourage looking at other jobs internally, which allows you to hire in doing a certain job and end up years later in a completely unrelated department.

      Cons

Promotion is based on who you know and if you are in a certain demographic. If you do not play the game, you have no chance of moving up into a meaningful position. HR is hard to get in touch with and will only refer you to the company website for info. Pepsi is very disorganized on the fleet side of the house. They moved the fleet AP to Mexico and caused numerous problems financially. Most fleet managers are Boomers and don't like IT or new ways of doing things.

          Pros

Great company to work for. Great Pay. You kind of your own boss out in the trade. No supervisor on top of you! Basically you have a start time but you finish when you get done with the route. But you do get paid hourly. So the faster it is to move and finish the less hours you make and the less money you make. So you could of need to balance it out. You do 10 plus you make good money.

          Cons

At the end of the day, You just a number. It's hard to get fired. Basically you fire yourself if you are not on point with your documents you fire yourself.

Has anyone have any experience and or has received any feedback on the hiring process background investigation with Peraton? I currently have a Secret Clearance so they are giving me Top Secret Clearance. I received the job offered with the condition of employment until the background is complete however I have not have heard anything from the background Investigator, know that usually it takes time and it can take even months, however like I have stated I already have a Secret Clearance

        Worker IN Tech

Listened to the debate tonight. Imagine going to an interview and behaving that way. Criticizing the other candidates, trying to find fault in other candidates and interrupting the hiring manager. Would that work???
