Disapproves of CEO

Pros

Great brands, challenging and thought-provoking work, nice workplace location.

Cons

Long hours - days, nights and weekends; arrogance of senior managment, lack of meritocracy and promotion of insiders.

Advice to Management

You should check your egos at your fancy cars before you take that long walk into the building . . . Pepsi is #3 now, so obviuosly you're not always right.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Steady pay check, the money is not bad if you do not mind working 65 hours a week, the business continues to grow despite the mismanagment

    Cons

Horrible long hours, you can start at 3:00am and finish around 6:00pm, the benefits are bad considering the profits and size of the company, the work/life balance is nonexisitent. Its all about the numbers and no longer about customer service. If you are not a Wal-Mart, Frito could care less about your business or service.

    Advice to Management

Quit hiring the college boys with no sales/people experience.

Current Employee - Director Marketing in Purchase, NY
    Approves of CEO

    Pros

    Global Reach
Potential for Non USA geographical relocation
Better bonus structure due to better value and volume growth
Very different challenges compared to US Market
Excellent work life balance when you are in USA

    Cons

Not sure what the new org. structure will look like as it is constantly changing.
Too much traveling and not enough family time

    Advice to Management

Reduce the deck culture and focus on the tangible insights that can help create a brand faster so we can lauch it faster. Too much time is spent on data pulling and story telling rather than content quality. Engage R&D early on in the strategy and innovation meeting so we are all connected on insights and execution.
