I have been working at Perficient full-time

    Pros

A lot of opportunity for career growth and chances to take on new responsibilities. Great people, great clients.

    Cons

You need to own your career - step up and take charge yourself. No one is going to hand anything to you on a platter. CXOs could spend more time in the field.

I worked at Perficient full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I didn't feel micromanaged and there was good cooperation within the business unit. We had some really talented people on our team, but also several newbies who probably were unaligned with their skills set (myself included).

    Cons

Training...what training? Bill, Bill, Bill. This is a churn and burn type shot, didn't feel much loyalty to the company. We were basically independent consultants with something that looked like a health insurance program. The bonus is oversold and you'll never actually realize the 401K contributions.

    Advice to Management

Need a more robust training program for functional consultants coming from industry. The travel was unrelenting, please rotate your staff home vs. away. Even a week at home once a month would be incredibly helpful.
