    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Excellent scientific development team, with a keen focus on market needs and awareness of cutting-edge technologies to meet those needs

    Cons

Poor understanding of non-instrument based sales and marketing, especially the need for application-based demonstration of new technologies' worth to users

    Advice to Management

Don't build large scientific establishments and then lay off over 50 percent of the core workforce to finance marketing expansion

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Great People, Strong Brand. They treat their employees with respect and allow you to share your input. Product development has quality built into it. Everyone seems happy to be at work, however.

    Cons

Flex-time is non existent. alot of old-timers with no new visions. They are in desperate need of some fresh young blood to get the place pumping out great new innovative products. People are clock watchers, waiting to get out of work as soon as possible.

    Advice to Management

Take more risks, be a little bit more innovative. "Me too" mentality is going to make you some money, but it will not make you BIG money. Be the first at something, PerkinElmer has done this in the past, I'm sure it can be done again
