I worked at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

There are no Pros to this company at all. The restaurant is very dirty and most of the employees on on drugs and do them at work.

Cons

Pay sucks. Always have to be a host because business is so slow. Most of the employees are on drugs and hate their job. District Manager is always Miro Managing and lying.

Advice to Management

Tell yours managers the truth when you are hiring them.

    I worked at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Servers receive good compensation through tips
    - schedule was always very flexible
    - relaxed environment when there isn't a rush

    Cons

    - Horribly mis-managed
    - Almost always understaffed, especially in the back of the house
    - Pay raises were almost non existent, our top employees received 15 cent raises once
    - After working at another restaurant it's easy to say this one is poor in comparison

    I have been working at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible with shifts, decent earning potential. The guests are loyal and iits very easy to pick up regulars.

    Cons

    Lots of corporate goals that interfer with guest service. At every table there are 4 menus that are taken out. Constantly try to market to. Guests that simply want a good meal.

    Advice to Management

    Find better methods to advertise rather than thrust marketing material on visiting guests
