Current Employee - Senior Project Manager

I have been working at Persistent Systems (India) for less than a year

      Pros

culture is great. get to learn a lot. environment pretty good. Technology company with innovative approach. Location wise very convenient.

      Cons

at this company growth takes a bit longer than expected. Though invests a lot on upcoming technologies it doesn't appear to have cutting edge projects for live implementation

      Advice to Management

improve on sales effort to win new clients and new projects that work in new and upcoming technologies in digital landscape. Create a pipeline for bright fresh minds to be readily available to take on new wins

I have been working at Persistent Systems (India) full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Excellent benefits, excellent work-life balance, good pay for what I was doing.

      Cons

Contracts are signed annually or biannually and there's a lot of competition between contracting companies. There's almost no way to make a career at Persistent unless you are management level.
