I have been working at Persistent Systems (India) full-time

    Pros

Employee friendly environment, flexible working hours, located in center of town, lot of cultural activities

    Cons

Work quality not as expected or promised, they say its a product company, but its mroe of a service company, has a gr8 name, but not upto expectations anymore, too many short term projects, lot of dependency on manager, HR doens't take a stand, HR is very weak, you are screwed if manager doesn't like you.

    Advice to Management

Improve work quality, Better HR policies are needed, Reduce manager dependancy

I have been working at Persistent Systems (India) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Excellent benefits, excellent work-life balance, good pay for what I was doing.

    Cons

Contracts are signed annually or biannually and there's a lot of competition between contracting companies. There's almost no way to make a career at Persistent unless you are management level.
