    Pros

The students at Perspectives are mostly wonderful. They have a choice where they go to school and many of them choose Perspectives because of the focus on college. They are bought in to the character education program at the school and generally do well as far as behavior goes.

    Cons

The expectations are unreasonable. It seems like every week something else is added to the mandatory to-do list for teachers and so nothing gets done well. Additionally all of these things take away from actually teaching which hurts the students. Major behavior issues with students are not addressed to the extent that they should be sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Focus on one or two things to improve about the school at a time. Trying to create a revolution is unsuccessful and creates anxiety and an inability for teachers and students to adapt. If everyone focused on doing a few things really well, positive change would happen.
