    Pros

One of the few companies that show inclusivity in the store year-round; Recently branded as a Health and Wellness for pets and is taking steps to own up to that; Company overall is very open to feedback; Pandemic things: Offered 5 days extra PTO if you showed signs of COVID, allowed leave if you have health issues or lived with someone with health issued that COVID would be dangerous for, furloughed people instead of firing them, gave $75 incentive to get the vaccine and donated $25 to their animal charity

    Cons

Pay needs to be higher with how high-risk the job can be; Not great health insurance; Stayed open during the pandemic and was slow to incorporate mask-wearing and sanitation practices; salon booking and stylist's ability to use PTO needs improvement; No sick days unless you live in a state that legally requires it.

    Pros

Continuous opportunity for advancement if you have strong drive. Highly supportive upper management. Willing to negotiate salary with strong performers or exceptional candidates. Lots of freedom as general manager in hiring and the hourly of those individuals. Positive atmosphere, helpful peers. Super progressive policies in every way. Barriers between levels of management are quite transparent.

    Cons

Labor models of publicly traded companies can feel tight at times, but with some experience underneath you it is not too difficult to navigate without over exerting yourself. Company moves quickly through prerogative, which is a good thing but can feel a but like a hurricane if you don't stay on top of it
