Pros

Good design process, talented colleagues, exposure to many verticals, excellent stakeholder interactions.

Cons

A bit too hierarchical, sometimes slow in decision making, less pay

Advice to Management

The management needs to be flattened for quicker decision making

    very good innovation talent, great technology.

    Cons

    compartmentalized, political management, disconnected from the business reality is killing innovation and locking potential.

    I worked at Philips full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good pay, welfare and finge benefit. The working culture is fine and stress a lot on self-initiative. Beside taking on the main task, you may need to take other minor task like Recreation organization, ...etc

    Cons

    many "re-organization". Due to increase competition and overly focus on shareholder return, there were many job lost.

    Advice to Management

    As it is too "Top Heavy" with vested interest, company cannot react fast enough against asian competetion
