I have been working at Philips full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Global leading brands with Sonicare and Zoom whitening that Dentists like. Good marketing support and a very innovative company. Great place to get experience so you can move onto something better in the medical/dental sales industry

    Cons

Management has set unrealistic sales goals for their sales people which has led to extremely high turnover in the US sales organization. My team has only one person left out of 10 left from when I first joined the organization over a year ago. "It's all about numbers or else" which has led to a toxic environment no matter how unrealistic they are. Management has set unrealistic levels of accountability which has led to a mass exodus over the past year in the sales organization

There is very little developmental support outside of your initial training and very little management support with challenges that you may encounter.

    Advice to Management

Instead of ruling with an Iron fist, work on developing your people so you constantly don't have to manage people out and spend money on constantly hiring new people. Make it a goal to make realistic quotas and reward people for their hard work!
