    Pros

Great company culture and coworkers. Management is receptive to new ideas and gives plenty of support when needed.

Small team (<20) means you can have a direct impact on the organization. As a non-profit entity supporting research, the work itself feels very purposeful.

Perks: work-life balance, flexible hours, ability to work from home (if needed), substantial benefits, conferences and travel opportunities

    Cons

As a small team, bandwidth and resources can be limited.
As a non-profit, salary cap will be lower than a corporate counterpart.

    Advice to Management

Keep on keeping on! Appreciate the continued updates and transparency regarding the organization's higher-level, long-term decisions.

    Pros

Small team, so everyone is involved in decision-making. Freedom to be creative and try new ideas. Variety in the type of work and surrounded by intelligent, passionate people. You are treated as a human and a friend and not just an employee. Super flexible in terms of working from home or work hours. Each employee is extremely valued. Startup nonprofit is in its growth stage, so there is good job stability.

    Cons

It is a nonprofit, which is a great thing, but it does mean that there are no stock options, and it means that salaries, although decent, are not on the high end of the spectrum. However, the work/life balance and company culture makes up for this.

    Advice to Management

Amazing management. Keep it up! :)
