Pros

They would provide current up-to-date information about the changing health field and insurance. On the ball with keeping people informed and updated.

Cons

controlling and often unreasonable...minimized the importance of specific therapy disciplines over others.

Advice to Management

Treat the staff with more respect...it will go further.

    I have been working at Phoenix Home Care (Illinois) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -management, very kind and polite. Mr. Melugin is amazing about giving recognition to employees at every in-service. Very professional, and has a profound love to help others in need.

    -You get travel. Your not stuck in the same setting, day in and day out.
    -More time outdoors, flexible hours.
    -99.9% on time pay( have make sure you have your paperwork in order).
    -EXPERIENCE--They have a wide range of clientele, so you will get a healthy dose of reality. People are down and out and there's a reason why your in their home to begin with.

    Cons

    -no grants or financial reimbursements for continuining education. Might've changed since I left. (They do work with you on scheduling if your currently attending college).
    -communication. Details of assignments werent always clear.

    Advice to Management

    Be nice!

    Terrible leadership, patient care is secondary to making your proficiency numbers.
