Pros

Remote work with no work life balance

Cons

Incompetent Policies: I was abruptly removed from my role as a Product Support Manager with no prior feedback or warnings. The leadership showed no interest in discussing the reasons for this decision as they had target to remove a particular number of employees. Discrimination: It became clear that Phreesia does not value diversity in its leadership team, especially when it comes to managers from India. The preference for North American managers over those from other regions is evident and disheartening. Lack of Transparency: The company is experiencing a downfall due to poor financial management, and rather than addressing these issues transparently, they make impulsive decisions that affect careers without any accountability. Leadership Failure: The CEO refuses to listen to employees and is driving the company into the ground. He lacks the vision to turn things around and ignores the concerns of those working hard to make a difference. Toxic Culture: Phreesia has no real values, and most people are just sticking around until they find their next job. There is no long-term vision, and employees are treated as disposable. No Appraisals: There are no appraisals from 2 years. And there wont be any yearly appraisals, as per them they increase salary only when someone gets promoted and they don't care about inflation because it doesn't effect them as per the management

Pros

The paycheck was on time. Literally, that is the only positive thing I can say about this experience. If you are looking for anything else—growth, respect, or a sense of purpose—look elsewhere.

Cons

Financial Embarrassment - It is insulting to watch leadership spend millions on flashy team meetings and corporate vanity projects, only to turn around and lay off the very employees who keep the lights on. Favoritism - This company does not run on merit; it runs on favoritism. If you aren't one of the hand-picked favorites, you will never be appreciated or respected. You are essentially a ghost in the machine, expected to do the heavy lifting while the "favorites" get the accolades. Culture - The environment is suffocating. Management from the top down has zero interest in the needs or well-being of their teams. There is a total lack of empathy and a complete refusal to listen when employees ask for help or resources. Work-Life Balance - Management views "work-life balance" as a myth. They expect total devotion but offer zero flexibility or support in return. Compensation - The compensation is significantly below market rate for the level of stress and the volume of work expected.
