I worked at Physiotherapy Associates full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Not many at the time I left.

    Cons

Outsourced billing and IT out of the country. Billing didn't care at all about the patients, only the revenue. The decision to send a patient to collections was taken away from the clinics and we weren't even notified if they were sent, therefore a lot of negativity from patients. Company only wants to achieve budgets for each year and IF it was met, expectations for more revenue the next year were higher. Therapists were expected to see far too many patients. PSMs were expected to control and do everything but were not allowed to make decisions as other managers would. No consistent training for new employees.

    Advice to Management

Put more control in the hands of the clinic. If you take care of the employees and the patients the revenue will increase, otherwise the company will crumble.
