      Great First Job

      Pros

Nearly everyone I worked with was fun to be around and made for a polite and professional environment, Hours were slightly flexible, I was able to come in anytime between 7 to 9 AM and leave accordingly as long as I put in my 8 hours.

      Cons

There seems to be a tendency to shove some HR problems under the rug. If an employee has worked with Pingora for a few years, they are treated as though they can do no wrong, to the detriment of newer employees.

        Pros

Worked at Pingora for almost three years and loved it! Everyone is extremely talented, collaborative, and fun.

        Cons

The company was experiencing great success and growth, which was handled very well by management, but some growing pains still existed.

          Pros

Great coworkers, boss, office culture, & perks. Super flexible with schedules--as long as you get your stuff done, you're fine

          Cons

We're corporately owned. So that poses its own issues--and that's all I'll say on that. Management does a great job of leading this company; however, they don't do a great job with onboarding new employees and giving them a rundown of the industry. They kind of throw you into your tasks and show you how to do what needs to be done, but there is no "intro" to the industry of Mortgage Servicing--which I feel is invaluable to the employee (and the company).

Hey everyone, Just needed to vent a bit about this job hunt. It's been a wild ride, to say the least. Lately, it feels like I'm sending my applications into a black hole, and I'm not alone in this, am I? Interviews seem to be the rarest gems, and job postings seem to disappear as soon as I hit 'apply.' Anyway, I'd love to hear your experiences. What's been your biggest frustration as a job seeker? How do you stay motivated in this crazy journey? Any words of wisdom or empathy to share?

What are people’s thoughts on those personality and logic tests some companies made you do as part of the hiring process? I frankly don’t like them. I understand if the test is for people who more technical but for roles leaning more creative or ideas based - I don’t understand how patterns I’m forced to review in a short time tells them I’m worth it to get the Hiring manager round. One asked me 50 ques in 15 min. And they never tell how you did on the tests

Anyone have any stories of times where you declined an offer at one company (just because it wasn’t the exact right fit or you got another better offer at that time) and u successfully re-connect? Is that a burned bridge forever? Would they consider you for another job again?
