I worked at Pinnacle Foods as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Efficiency trickles down all the way from the CEO to the maintenance staff. Being such a lean company, everyone interacts with each other, including interns. This leads to great networking opportunities. Best of all for interns, the projects and assignments that are assigned all affect the company, everything you do matters. There is no time-wasting busy work.

    Cons

The interns from different departments were spread out throughout the building, and though it is not a gigantic building there were a few interns that I had not met until the last couple weeks of the internship. Since we were all in the same position starting the summer, it would have been nice to have met all of them in the beginning.

    Advice to Management

Once all interns start working, have them sit down and meet each other. This way they can get acquainted with one another and they can then share their experiences and advice with one another throughout the internship.
