I have been working at Pinnacle Property Management Services full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Regular hours, except emergency service
2 weeks paid vacation

Cons

You must wait a full year to take even one week of vacation. In the apartment industry, as difficult as dealing with residents can be at times, it really should be 1 week every six months.
Difficult to obtain raises in pay, even with favorable evaluations
Health insurance for the employee only sold be included in his or her pay as they are no good to you if they are ill. Some employees will forego the job offer or health insurance purchase

Advice to Management

Review your benefits schedule, reward your maintenance staff for a job well done. Little things go a long way. Your churn rate is way too high for this industry and for the lowball wages for maintenance supervisors/engineers, I can see why they won't stay long.

I have been working at Pinnacle Property Management Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you're new in the industry, you'll get lots of training with webinars and online courses. Good place to begin a career in multi-family industry.

    Cons

Haven't had a review in two years, was misled on a few occasions regarding what to expect at new property I was taking over, no vacation earned until one year anniversary date and not just on the first year....kinda like being a temp!

    Advice to Management

Change vacation policy, review your employees every year, have quarterly meetings with managers in portfolio, offer mentoring classes for those interested in climbing the ladder, care more...

I have been working at Pinnacle Property Management Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fair amount of anonymity and the Asset Managers were receptive to suggestions in limiting rent increases when given well-reasoned inputs.

    Cons

Seemed to be difficult to move beyond the level of property manager

    Advice to Management

make a point to reach out to, and chat with each employee, if only briefly, at least once a year. By this I don't mean an online survey; an actual conversation.
