Pros

People, leadership, fun place, company parties, rewarded for performance - gave us tools to do our job. Tried to keep us busy in slow times.

Cons

Sometimes stressful, customers a challenge but managers had your back, benefits could be better - but better than covered CA

Pros

Pays the same as the rest of the industry, however we did have a lot of prevailing wage work so that's a big pro. I really liked the majority of the people in the office and the warehouse guys were cool. For the majority of my employment I was given a work vehicle, laptop, cell phone, etc. Great projects to work on. Eileen was awesome.

Cons

The project managers were the driving factor that pushed me away from this company. I heard that after I left, my current PM at the time was replaced, so this may not be a factor anymore. Towards the end of my employment they started to add new rules for the work vehicle and it made things much more complicated than it should have been. Overall, I enjoyed my time at PTI and even though I am at another good company now, I still check from time to time to see if PTI is hiring because I liked their atmosphere and the people that worked there.

Pros

I enjoyed working in an industry that includes both technology and construction. There is always something new to learn. The job was challenging which for me was a positive thing. Reporting directly to the CEO and upper management has many perks, most importantly the mentoring and being able to learn through example. A diverse company to work for: 100% woman owned and a diverse work force which, in my experience, is a benefit to all.

Cons

It's a very competitive industry to work in but that is becoming the new norm in most industries these days. Be prepared for change which is always inevitable. There are no "freebies" here... You must work hard and perform well to earn respect (this isn't necessarily a con, just wanting to put that out there... Please don't come to work for PTI only to collect a paycheck. This isn't fair to the employees who have a desire to work for a successful company).
