I worked at Pizza Hut full-time

    Pros

Fun people, flexible schedule, easy job.

    Cons

Low pay, drivers are completely ripped off, no benefits, favoritism, no incentives, no motivation, will let anyone be a manager, the people who make the rules never worked in a restaurant. I could go on and on, but in a nutshell, unless you're a 16 year old kid just wanting a part time job, don't bother. The stores have become franchises and the owners want to make money. You could work your fingers to the bone and never as much as get a thank you.

    Advice to Management

You get what you pay for. If you are going to pay low pages, expect to get low results. Give people a reason to show up every day. Pay your drivers for their gas, insurance and car maintenance. Stop trying to find ways to cut corners on wages. Quit doing some stupid promotional item that needs new equipment every 3 months. Rather than paying for those one time use tools and equipment, you could pay your employees better. Offer more toppings instead of a novelty menu item. People already like the pizza, they just want more variety with toppings, not the double decker stuffed rolled cheesey monstrosity of the month. It's a waste and while you're wasting money on ridiculous things like that, your employees can't pay their bills, Get your priorities straight.
