      Pros

      -You get to work on a lot of projects that help you to broaden your skill set. - Free food, which is great!!!! - Hard working group of people and the engineering team is always willing to pitch in and help.

      Cons

      - Terrible culture. There are racist comments and age discrimination by senior staff. Product, Marketing and Sales team (especially VP level) are stuck up and tend to bully staff, play political games and play favorites. They are always finding ways to get the ex-CEO to fire employees that they have not worked with at their previous companies (Yammer, IronPort,WibiData). - All the early hires have left the company and senior staff does not seem to care about that. -

      Pros

      The caliber, intelligence, creativity, collaborative abilities of the entire team are second to none. Lots of food - and not just junk! Product is a stand-out in big data - doing very well and getting lots of traction. People are friendly and will run towards an issue (and a person needing help), as opposed to treating the issue like it's not their problem. Regular updates from exec's about where the business is, where the product is...great for keeping us aware of the latest news. Best place I've worked in a long time.

      Cons

      Outskirts of downtown San Mateo make the location a little "suburban" in feel - hard to walk out and find much for lunch. The commute can also be challenging for people located more than 15 miles from the office - though they're working on ways to address this (flex days, flexible hours, etc). Also - can we "work" on having more fun?
