Cons

The organization itself is currently not growing, personnel-wise, but instead is innovating to do more with less and partnering with other non-profits to be as effective as possible. Given the focus on retaining its current brain trust and developing from within, it may be harder to land a role here now than in the past. That said, if you can land a position there, it is a great place to take ownership and help the org drive its creative evolution.

The mission is awesome - if only I he senior leadership understood and exemplified it.

Cons

Where do I start? B list leaders who are more interested in feeding their egos than feeding poor people. And such implicit racism. As a person of color I am tired of the patronizing and inauthentic politically correct gestures they to make them feel better about themselves. The sector deserves better. Ugh.
