Pros

Got to play with little kids.
Learned about Photography

Cons

No Benefits
Bad Managers
Crazy Parents
Horrible Work Environment

Advice to Management

If you plan on working someone into the ground, at least compensate them at a decent rate for all the crap the employees have to deal with.
Give your employees benefits, so they can actually go to the doctor when you have gotten them so sick, they have no other choice but to see a doctor. Its not fun when you have no insurance, but have to go to the doctor, and present a doctors note, no matter what the issue.

    Pros

Decent just out of college wage

    Cons

Constant harassment to sell more, go faster or be fired. Mandatory overtime. 12-15 hour days with no lunch -- manager tells you to log out but keep working. Manager talks behind everyone's back. Cheap promotions bring in cheap customers and then employees are expected to sell them more and be fast about it. I was told not to show all options available in order to speed up process. Manual says 2 employees per shoot, but you are on you're own. Try to take shots/pose children at the same time and be fast is next to impossible especially during "THE BLACKOUT" season. Manager swears at you and belittles you in front of other staff. Constant pressure to sell or be fired at end of season, which would be a relief.

    Advice to Management

Stop putting out cheap promos, that bring in cheap customers. Find out if your employees are being harassed. Happy employees will make or break you.

    Pros

    Pay okay. Bonus Potential. Fun.

    Cons

Regional manager was lazy, immature, did not pay attention to what was actually going on in the studios.

    Advice to Management

Stop being lazy. Promote the right people.
