Pros
Company does hire good talent and good people. I worked at corporate and loved my direct co-workers. Best part of the job.
Cons
1) No career development. People only got promoted if their manager was getting married or pregnant, and assistants had to cover for that period of time. While interviewing, they really made you feel like there was momentum, but there isn’t. 2) I was let go because I purchased discounted items with another persons credit card besides my own. It was an odd way to go, they waited a few years to call me out and when they did the HR meeting was super unprofessional. They definitely made me seem like just a number and they did not have my best interest at heart. They still make a profit from the discount, business is bad so it is a way for them to let go employees. 3) Not a flexible work life balance. They gave us Friday was WFH, but still had us come into the office. Also, don’t give a lot of time off during the holidays. 4) Overall, there are just better places to work. They pay less than the market, only give 3% to your 401k when most companies like Gap give 5%. And work life balance is bad. Just go somewhere else.
