Pros
I will always be grateful for my experience working at Powderhorn. Everyone I worked with was like a member of the family. Management over the Ski and Ride School was a pleasure to work with, helpful, understanding, and still keeping the small town mountain resort spirit.
Cons
While not having been swallowed up by the Vale Corporation, financial constraints has allowed for another corporation to move in and "oversee" the way things are run. Unfortunately, like the other ski resorts Powderhorn is changing and not for the best. Effects are taking place more slowly and I hope it will hold out until the bitter end.
