I worked at Pratt & Whitney full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Gratful for the opportunity to see first hand the workings of a company of this size and scope. Very bureaucratic and SLOW to act.

    Cons

Middle leadership very young and in many cases and lack necessary experience/exposure to provide adequate and necessary decisionmaking.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Pratt & Whitney full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great place to learn and exposure to many positions and aspects of the business.

    Cons

A lot of bureaucracy, nepotism and hard to make changes for the better even though the company claims to embrace a continuous improvement operating system. All the above are evident in all aspects of the business to include salary increases, bonuses and layoffs; it's about who you know not what you know. Management has a lot of power, to included, taking credit for the work of their employees of even give that credit to someone else.
